There will be special pricing on selected BERNINA sewing machines & we will have sewing & embroidery demonstrations daily. Also, stop by the shop for our Frog Jump Sale where you pick a frog from our pond to find your savings on his belly!

Ginger will teach a class making clothes for 18" dolls. This class will be scheduled once each month for 10 months, making different outfits each month. The finished wardrobe will consist of pajamas, bathrobe, dress, coat, apron & more...we will even make a sleeping bag! These clothes will fit American Girl dolls.

Do you want to learn the art of hand applique? Sandra Mollon will teach a Block Of The Month class using hand applique beginning in June. If you haven't seen Sandra's work you can visit her website or stop by the shop, we have some beautiful samples of what she will be teaching.

Camp Sew Fun! has been scheduled for the 2012 summer. The first classes will be held June 19th through the 22nd, July classes will be July 17th through the 20th. These classes are for kids 8-18 years old....sign up early because they fill up fast!
Beyond Camp Sew Fun, for those that have completed Camp Sew Fun & have their own Bernette sewing machine, is on the calendar for July 24 through 26. The kids will make a pair of summer pajamas using cotton fabric for the bottom & a light knit for the top.

Open Sewing is on the calendar every Monday. The classroom fee is $5 per day. Bring your projects that you need help with, there will be someone here to answer questions & get you on your way to finishing your projects. If you just need room to spread out or a place to work uninterrupted, sign up for Open Sewing on Mondays.

We are now an official drop-off point for Project Linus blankets & quilts. If you have something you would like to donate to this great organization just bring it in & we will arrange pick up.
Project Linus Origins:
On Christmas Eve, 1995, an article titled “Joy to the World” appeared in Parade Magazine. It was written by Pulitzer Prize winning photo-journalist, Eddie Adams. Part of the article featured a petite, downy haired child. She had been going through intensive chemotherapy and stated that her security blanket helped her get through the treatments. After reading the article, Karen Loucks decided to provide homemade security blankets to Denver’s Rocky Mountain Children’s Cancer Center, and Project Linus was born.
